New website & blog for artist Juilee Pryor.
She’s most famously known for her “Martin Luther King” mural, on King St, Newtown, and the Sydney Park Hill project, where she lit the hills on fire to represent an artwork.
The Gong Youth Festival was a non profit charity event organised to raise awareness of adolescent health issues (“Youth Off The Streets”), organised by the Police Community Youth Clubs (PCYC).
The Wollongong PCYC approached me to develop promotional posters, e-newsletters and flyers for the event to also help support local entertainment acts striving in the Illawarra.
Unfortunately the event was cancelled due to poor weather. This however was a great experience nonetheless for me; as it drew on my time management skills to produce a number of designs in an allocated deadline. I enjoyed the creative freedom in this particular design the most.
Yuranga IT and Web hired me as a freelance designer to design the face of a new user interface for one of their clients.
The main idea of this design was the focus on simplicity and easy to use.
We were able to work together to produce initial concepts to end, resulting in it being developed to a inbuilt JavaScript application.

Active Animals was home business run and maintained by Allira Murphy based in the Illawarra. She Approached Mr LeE Designs to completed the web presence whist working with a consistent theme with the logo design.
The University of Wollongong’s Recreation & Aquatic Centre approached me to develop a re-design of the current web site. Their proposal was for a ‘new, hip and fresh look’.
This particular job enabled me to draw from their previous ‘corporate’ designs and shape URAC’s new image into something ‘fresh’ and appealing to a wide audience of all genres.
Concurrent with the new website design were e-newsletters and print posters which were key tools in forming the ‘fresh’ look for the final production.
Other related designs were developed as well, such as e-newsletters and print posters, were offered as sub projects during the period of the re-design.
The Entertainment Strategic Organizers group approached me to develop a branding and promotional campaign for their up-coming night club events; located in Sydney’s Kings Cross.
The final products for the project were promotional prints, (A2 posters, A5 double sided flyers and business cards for exclusive entry), which exemplified the club’s professional quality and red carpet personality.
The promotional materials were distributed throughout 7 different shopping centres in and around the Central Business District of Sydney.
This was a self initiated project showcasing my digital illustration skills through using Coca Cola as a communication medium.
Various experimentation were implemented through banners, showing a diverse range of ways I like to illustrate for advertisements (Photo manipulation, Vector Art and hand drawn collage).
The campaign was based on the Coke Side of Life, representing three different lifestyles:
- The Fun Life, The Night Life and The Cool Life.
Promotional poster made for the Police Community Youth Clubs (PCYC) events targeted towards Under 18’s youth.
The proposal requested a design which would evoke an energetic vibe for the youth of the Illawarra; a new experience and something different than anything previous.
Developed within the project to maintain consistency throughout the marketing were extras such as teaser posters, logo design, and e-flyers.
After the initial event, I was hired to continue the design of the posters for future events to come.
This was a t-shirt illustration design for my local hip hop group that participated in state finals in NSW GrooveOn Battlegrounds in 2007.
Unfortunately we didn’t make to nationals, but it was a great experience!
Spa Semiyahn approached my freelance design company Mr LeE Designs, in need of a complete new web site constructed for them; together with domain and dns maintenance aswell.
The profile for the job was very specific. Aimed towards a mature audience, an easily guided website was imperative to Spa Semiyahn’s advertising success. From this experience I found that working closely with the client allowed for creativity and simplicity to merge perfectly.
Working as a concept artist for the Mental Health Association, they required a series of CD and book cover and some posters to refresh their new marketing materials, for their identity.
The Mechanical Engineering Society approached me in need of a new logo; something to set them apart from the Mechatronics Society of Engineering. In previous years, both societies had similar designs which added to confusion and non-distinguishable logos.
This particular job allowed me to gain in my experience of logo conception and added to my publicity as a designer. The final design was then printed on 100 shirts and event banners which were displayed across Wollongong University.
